Elicit Folio welcomes guest bloggers who wishes to contribute to our community. Elicit Folio content is designed to help and inspire readers. Please read the following guidelines for submitting content to Elicit Folio. Below you will find our Blogger Agreement form, which will be considered as signed by submitting your name and information below:
By submitting an article for consideration you consent to exclusive publication by Elicit Folio and consent to the following guidelines.
All blog contributors must comply with the following criteria:
- Originality: Guest Posts must be the author’s original works that have not been previously published on any other website, forum, chat or social media channel.
- No AI: All Guest Posts submitted must be Human-Crafted Content Only, no A.I. Elicit Folio believes in the power of human creativity and expertise. Therefore, Elicit Folio does not accept articles or content entirely generated by AI systems. Demonstrative examples of AI-generated content for educational purposes (how-to prompts) are OK.
- No Plagiarism: Content must be your own work. Plagiarism or copyright infringement is not permitted. In the event the content is found to be plagiarized, the contributor agrees to: (a) Cover any legal costs, damages, or expenses incurred by the blog owner due to the infringement. (b) Immediately allow Elicit Folio to remove the content without prior notice. Any contributor who submits plagiarized content more than once will be permanently barred from submitting further content, and any pending compensation for unapproved work will be forfeited.
- Disclosures: Guest Posts must disclose any relationship with a company or someone mentioned in submitted guest post. All sponsored content and affiliate links included in the post must be clearly disclosed as such in compliance with applicable laws, including FTC Guidelines. Contributors are responsible for ensuring transparency to the audience.
- Affiliate Links & Sponsored Posts: Affiliate links must be submitted for approval to Elicit Folio before publication. Elicit Folio reserves the right to remove or replace any affiliate link deemed inappropriate or irrelevant to the audience.
- Revenue generated from affiliate links within the content will be shared as follows: 70% by Guest Submitter / 30% to Elicit Folio. Reports on affiliate earnings will be provided quarterly to Elicit Folio. Payouts will be made through a secure payment link on a quarterly basis.
- Affiliate links to competitors, illegal products, adult content, or any other prohibited categories are strictly forbidden. Non-compliant links may result in immediate removal of the content and termination of the agreement.
- The Contributor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Elicit Folio from any claims, damages, or legal liabilities arising from the inclusion of affiliate links, including but not limited to violations of applicable laws or affiliate program terms.
- Contributors may request monthly performance reports for affiliate links included in their content. The blog owner will provide information on clicks, conversions, and earnings as available.
- Elicit Folio reserves the right to add its own affiliate links where appropriate. Guest Contributor are not entitled to any compensation for writing the post or for any revenue generated from affiliate links included by Elicit Folio.
- Citation: When quoting others, please cite the source. This would include providing hyperlinks to original sources where applicable. Failure to cite sources accurately may result in the article being rejected or unpublished and may invoke the plagiarism clause outlined in this agreement.
- Exclusivity: Once your post is submitted and accepted for publication on Elicit Folio, you agree not to publish the content, in part or in whole, elsewhere online, including on your own website or blog. This ensures that all content on Elicit Folio remains unique and valuable to our readers..
- Promotion: You may promote your Guest Post on your own website, Twitter, Facebook, or other social media / professional forums via a link to the article on elicitfolio.com.
- Elicit Folio will promote the Guest Contributor’s post on a variety of social media networks, but does not guarantee any particular site or reach.
- Contributor Bios: Guest Contributors may submit a short bio (50 words or less) if one is to be included. The Writer may provide a photo, but it is not guaranteed to be included. We will not create a bio for Guest Contributors.
- Media: Guest Contributors can include images or video under the following conditions:
- Attribution:
- All images/videos must include proper attribution, including the source, creator’s name, and any required licensing information (e.g., Creative Commons licenses).
- Content Standards:
- All media must align with Elicit Folio’s content standards and values. Offensive, inappropriate, or low-quality images/videos will not be accepted.
- Images/videos must enhance the post and be relevant to the topic.
- Specifications:
- Images should be submitted in high-resolution formats (e.g., PNG or JPEG for images, MP4 or MOV for videos).
- Videos should not exceed 50 MB and must be optimized for web playback. Web links for embedded videos are acceptable as well.
- For images, dimensions of at least 1500 x 1125 px are preferred to ensure quality.
- Editing and Final Use:
- Elicit Folio reserves the right to crop, resize, or edit submitted media for formatting, consistency, or quality purposes.
- Elicit Folio may add watermarks or branding to images/videos as necessary.
- Responsibility:
- The Guest Contributor is fully responsible for ensuring the legality of the media submitted. Elicit Folio is not liable for any claims arising from improper use of copyrighted material.
- Alternative Options:
- If the Guest Contributor cannot provide media, Elicit Folio reserves the right to source and include relevant images/videos in the post.
- Attribution:
- Writing Credit: Guest post writers will receive the writing credit as the author of their post.
- Contributor Links: All guest posts will receive two links for both social media and the Contributor’s website. Of these two links, at least one (1) link to the Contributor’s website and one (1) to their social media. If the Contributor does not have a website, two (2) links will be provided to either Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, or Twitter (“X”). If the author/writer has no profile for linking, only the name will be provided.
- Links to the writer’s website within the post must be directly related and relevant to the topic.
- 3rd Party Links: Links to third-party sites shall be approved by Elicit Folio, and must be relevant to the topic.
- Anchor Text: All Search Engine Optimized anchor text or tags will be reviewed and subject to inclusion at the discretion of Elicit Folio.
- Excessive Use of Links: Excessive links or links that appear to be spam will be removed at the discretion of Elicit Folio.
- Review & Approval of Content: All Guest Contributor content will be reviewed and approved by Elicit Folio prior to posting.
- Elicit Folio reserves the right to edit posts where necessary to ensure the post is consistent with the values of Elicit Folio. All edits will be sent to author prior to approval.
- Elicit Folio will review any material changes made prior to publication.
- Elicit Folio reserves the right to refuse publication or remove the guest post without prior notice to the guest writer.
- By providing Guest post articles to Elicit Folio, you agree you are not becoming part of the website nor shall you hold yourself out to be a member of the Elicit Folio website or its staff.
Elicit Folio reserves the right to refuse publication of any post that appears to have been submitted for the purpose of advertising a business or service.
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of North Carolina, US. and any disputes arising from this agreement will be resolved in North Carolina.
