Typically as the weather becomes warmer, it’s time for us to cut our sugar intake. However, in this article, I want you to pull the sugar off the shelf since it has properties that your lips will love, and will not affect your waist đ

In the past few weeks, I started making my own lip scrub at home, and wanted to share the one I use with all of you. I recommend applying this yummy scrub to your lips 1-2 times a week:

Here’s What You Will Need:

DIY Natural Lip Exfoliator
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp sugar (You can use white, raw, or brown sugar) –Â This is your exfoliantÂ
- 1/2 tsp olive oil or coconut oil (This is your moisturizer)
- 1/2 tsp raw honey (anti-inflammatory & antioxidants)
- Add an extract of your choice for flavor – Fresh Squeezed Lemon, Almond Extract (I used Vanilla Extract)
Instructions
- Take a mixing bowl and add all of the ingredients above. Mix together
- Take a small amount of the mixture, and apply this to your lips by gently rubbing and exfoliating for about 1-2 minutesÂ
- To remove, simply lick off the mixture since it's edible!  Or remove with a wet cloth
- Apply a lip balm with an SPF to seal in moisture, and protect your lips from the sun
