Game # 1 – Don’t Lose the House Keys!
Here’s What You Will Need:
- House Keys – I ordered mine here from Amazon
- Lanyards (Optional) – I ordered mine here from Amazon
- A prize of your choice for the winner
GAME RULES:
- Pick 1-3 words your guests cannot say the entire party. We will call these the “buzz words”.
- As your guests arrive, greet them and hand them a key. Explain they may keep their house key the entire duration of the party as long as they do not say one of the buzz words. If another guest hears someone say one of the buzz words, they are allowed to take another guest’s key.
- The person with the most keys at the end of the party wins a prize!

Game # 2- The Price is Right!
Here’s What You Will Need:
- Pens
- Stickers
- Random household items that you have the accurate price for (I saved my receipt from Family Dollar)
- Download and print the following template (download PDF template)
- A prize of your choice for the winner

RULES:

- Announcement Round: After handing out the printed templates to each of your guests (or contestants!), begin by pulling each of the household items from your basket. One by one, describe what the item is, and have your guests write down the name of the item, and their best guess at the price. Do not reveal the prices until all items have been read aloud to the guests.
- Best Bid Round: At the end of the announcement round, call out the name of the item, and announce the price for one item at a time to all those in the room. The contestant whose bid/guess is closest to the actual retail price of the item without going over wins a sticker for that item.
- The contestant with the most stickers at the end wins a prize!
- The basket should also be given to the new homeowners as a gift as well!
Game #3 – How Fast Can You Pack?
Here’s What You Will Need:
- Packing peanuts
- Plastic Spoons
- As many boxes you wish to have
- A timer ( I used my phone)
- A prize for the winner
RULES:
- Have packing contestants come to a table or the middle of an open floor. Each contestant is to receive 1 plastic spoon and one box (the smaller the spoon, the better).
- Poor the packing peanuts on the floor or table
- Each contestant has 1.5 minutes to scoop as many packing peanuts as possible into their box using only their spoon!
- The contestant with the most packing peanuts in their box at the end is declared the packing winner & receives a prize!

Game #4 – Let’s Unpack! – A Saran Wrap Game!
Here’s What You Will Need:
- Saran Wrap
- 2 Dice
- Random small prizes and one special prize!
Directions on Assembly:
- Begin by taking the most valued prize (I used a Starbucks gift card) and wrap it with saran wrap. Change the directions a few times to make it difficult to get to (I believed I wrapped mine about 15 times). I discourage putting actual money in the middle to avoid the risk of it getting ripped from excitement!
- Next begin layering in other smaller prizes. I used: Candy, random small items from the dollar section in Target, and a few random $1 bills to add excitement!
- Continue to wrap in the items into the saran wrap ball that begins to form. Change the direction of the saran wrap ever so often until you are happy with the size of the ball. Finish with packing stickers for decoration and to make the first few attempts difficult.

RULES:
- Have everyone sit in a circle or at tables. Hand the saran wrap ball to one guest, and hand the two dice to the next guest to their right. When you say GO! Guest #1 with the ball can begin to attempt to unwrap the ball, while Guest #2 attempts to roll doubles with the two dice.
- When Guest #2 rolls doubles, they can take the saran wrap ball from the previous player, and the next guest (Guest #3) can begin to attempt to roll doubles as well.
- Continue this cycle until the last guest wins the prize in the middle!
- Whatever prizes fall out during the unwrapping may be kept (which means everyone will win something). HOWEVER: Guests are not allowed to rip into the ball, they must fully unwrap each layer one by one to keep the game fair. ENJOY! This game is very intense!!
Game #5 – House Hunters!
One fun way for your guests to tour and see your new home is to create a scavenger hunt for them!
Here’s What You Will Need:
- Random items that need to be discovered, hidden throughout your home
- A timer (I used my phone)
- A prize of your choice for the winning team
RULES:
1. Split a few guests into two teams. Give them a list of the hidden items and the relevant rooms.
2. Set the timer up for 5 minutes and have the two teams embark on finding their items.
3. The first team to find all of their items, or whoever finds the most items in 5 minutes wins a prize!
