Spring is nature’s way of reminding us to start fresh, to bloom, and gather for life’s sweetest moments. In this article, I will share with you some unique and creative tips on throwing a fabulous brunch named Cuvée and Corks. By hosting a brunch party called Cuvée and Corks, you will have the ability to elevate your next brunch soirée by providing a wine tasting experience, decoupage, and all things rosé. This brunch theme is perfect for bridal showers, baby showers, celebrating rosé day, or a meaningful “just because” moment.

The easiest way to kickoff the planning process for your spring brunch party is to take a moment and thoughtfully curate your guest list. A Cuvée & Corks brunch party is all about connection and celebration, so invite women who uplift, inspire, and bring joy to your life. Depending on the energy you’re going for, you can invite a small group or larger crowd.

After selecting your guest list, create a cute Save the Date and digital invitation in Canva. The colors and theme used on your invitation should hint towards the vibe you wish to have for your event! You can download and edit my invitation by signing up for Canva and requesting free access to my invitation below:

Tip: Prior to the event, send a follow-up note to guests and include RSVP reminders, arrival time, and whether guests should bring anything.

The key to hosting a successful brunch party is having an easy brunch party menu with a variety of options. Most brunch menus are easy to manage if you select simple make-ahead dishes and hand-held side dishes. Below are a few of my favorite recipes and brunch menu ideas:

To stay true to the theme, our group’s sommelier – @mrssipsomewine visited various boutique wine shops to hand-select bottles that were cuvée blends.  Each wine was included for its unique profile and story. If you wish to incorporate a wine tasting into your brunch party as a fun and engaging moment for your guests, below are some tips for your own lineup:

  • Serve 3 – 4 blended wines. We served the following wines at our brunch party:
    • Tasting #1 – 2022 Pere Mata “Cupada Rosé” Cava Reserva – Shop Here
    • Tasting # 2 – Domaine Serol – Turbullent Champs Libres Sparkling Rose NV –Shop Here
    • Tasting # 3 – 2022 Gramona Gessami, Penedes, Spain (Organic Wine) – Shop Here
    • Tasting #4 – J Vineyards Sparkling Cuvée 20 – Shop Here

There were also some at our party who do not drink alcohol. To ensure they were still able to enjoy the occasion, I provided the following non-alcoholic wines as well:

  • Cruse Bellini Sparkling Non-Alcoholic Wine – Shop Here
  • Nectarose Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Rose – Shop Here
  • TÖST ROSÉ All-Natural Alcohol-Free Sparkling Beverage – Shop Here

What Is a Cuvée?

In the wine world, a cuvée is a carefully crafted blend, often of different grapes, that results in a distinct, elevated flavor. @mrssipsomewine shared that in the wine world, Cuvée is also known as “fun juice”.  I was drawn to this concept, because like wine, every woman is a unique blend of boldness, softness, and strength.

The tablescape brought the theme to life, setting the mood for the day. For my setup, I used:

  • A blush and cream color palette with soft gold accents
  • Faux flowers arrangements with peonies, roses, and eucalyptus
  • Layered place settings with chargers, pearly plates, linen napkins, and gold flatware
  • Dainty wine charms to attach to wine glasses for a personalized touch
  • A show-stopping flower wall backdrop for photos and selfies

This helped create a dreamy, garden-party vibe that felt both elevated and inviting. Shop all of my decor from the event below:

To make the day even more special, I surprised my guests by inviting Rachel, the owner of Southern Belle and Bubbly to lead a decoupage experience, where guests decorated their own mini bubbly bottles. If you’re interested in custom wine bottle orders or a ladies night tutorial class, you can contact Southern Belle and Bubbly here on Instagram or here on Facebook.

This take-home activity was not only fun but deeply personal, since each guest left with a bottle that was uniquely theirs with custom labels. I also ordered custom gift bags for their decoupage take home bottles.

What’s a brunch party without a little fun? I created a few signature games to give my guests fun things to do throughout the afternoon and to keep the energy and laughter flowing:

  • Sip & Slips – If you slip and say the words “pretty” or “taste“, you could lose your pearls! See game rules here.

  • Name That Sip – Since I’m a blogger, I allowed my guests to name my welcome drink. The full recipe can be found here on my blog.
  • Wine Bingo – I ordered a wine themed bingo game for my guests here on Amazon.
  • Blind Wine Taste Test – Test your guests knowledge with a fun blind taste test. See game rules here.

My favorite planning moment was curating soft girl self-care thank you bags that left my guests feeling pampered, appreciated, and deeply seen. It’s one thing to host a beautiful event, but the party favor? That’s the best way you can wrap up the perfect brunch party.  I ordered blush-toned thank-you bags from Amazon and filled them with hand-picked goodies, including:

These small but meaningful touches tied everything together! Hosting this Spring Brunch and Cuvée Party was more than just planning a pretty event , it was about creating space for joy, connection, and meaning. So whether you’re planning a girls’ brunch or your next big spring gathering, consider this your invitation to host with heart. Blend good food, great wine, beautiful surroundings, and intentional moments,  and you will create something unforgettable.
