Ingredients

  • 2.5 oz Bacardi Silver Rum
  • 2.5 oz Steeped, Cooled Green Tea
  • .5 oz Simple Syrup
  • .5 oz Sweet & Sour Mix
  • 3 Thinly Sliced Lime Wedges
  • 8-10 Fresh Mint Leaves
  • Splash of Soda Water

Instructions

  • Prepare one green tea bag, let it steep and cool. ( I personally heated up a cup of filtered water in a microwave safe cup for 30 seconds, and added my tea bag afterwards to steep for a few minutes)
  • In a tall glass of choice, add lime, mint, simple syrup, and sweet and sour mix. Muddle lightly around 10 times as to not bruise the mint. (This is not traditional, but I find muddling the mint with syrup & sour mix infuses & distributes the mint oils better throughout the drink.)
  • To your tall glass, add rum, green tea, and ice. Be sure to fill your entire glass with ice so there is not a lot of room left for the soda. Top off with soda water. Stir and serve. Enjoy!
