Ingredients

Ginger Simple Syrup

  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Ginger peeled and chopped

Instructions

Ginger Simple Syrup

  • Combine sugar, water, and ginger in a small saucepan.
  • Over medium heat, bring mixture to a boil and stir constantly until sugar dissolves.
  • Remove mixture from heat and allow it to cool until it reaches room temperature.
  • Remove and strain ginger pieces. You can store your simple syrup in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator.

Blackberry Pineapple Ginger Mocktail

  • In a cocktail mixing glass, add 3 blackberries, and 4-5 pineapple chunks. Muddle ingredients together until juice is extracted.
  • Add 1 oz of pineapple juice and 1 oz of ginger simple syrup. Stir mixture together.
  • Place a cocktail strainer over a coupe glass, and pour mixture into glass. Top with blackberry infused sparkling water and enjoy!
