This yummy celery spinach green smoothie recipe in one of my favorites. It is a great detox smoothie and rich in flavor. It is slightly sweet, yet not too “green” for those who are not huge fans of green smoothies.

Don’t be alarmed by celery being one of the ingredients in this smoothie. Lately I’ve been obsessed with learning about the health benefits of celery (see one reference article here), and the benefits were quite surprising! So I decided to add celery to this recipe, and I could not even taste it at all! The fresh produce in this smoothie contains enzymes that will help clean out your digestive track, and it also provides benefits for your skin! Scroll down to see this recipe! Enjoy!

Celery Spinach Green Smooth Video Recipe:

  • Texture & Temperature Matter: Use a variety of fruits and vegetables for well blended textures. Adding frozen fruits / vegetables or ice cubes allow you to serve your smoothie cold. To achieve a creamier texture, use ingredients such as yogurt or avocado.
  • Use Fresh Ingredients: If possible, always use fresh produce and ripe fruits for the best nutritional value and flavor, similar to this recipe or my pineapple mango smoothie recipe.
  • Add Protein: Try to incorporate healthy protein sources like Greek yogurt, nut butter, or whey protein powder to make the smoothie more filling and nutritious. Nut butters are also a great way to add healthy fats.
