Caipirinha Cocktail Recipe

This is my version of the famous Brazilian Caipirinha. The traditional Caipirinha contains limes, 2-3 sugar cubes and cachaça. The alternative recipe below is easy to make, adding lime juice and sugar to smooth out all flavors. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 Lime, sliced into wedges
  • 1.5 oz Lime Juice
  • 1.5 tbsp Sugar
  • 2.5 oz Cachaça

Instructions

  • To a mixing glass, add 1 lime sliced (white vein removed). Add 1.5 tbsp of sugar. Muddle to release lime juice and peel oils.
  • To the muddled mixture, add 1.5 oz of fresh squeezed lime juice and 2.5 oz of cachaça. Stir until ingredients are combined. Pour and serve mixture over ice and enjoy!
